Position: Pet Care Provider (Doggy Daycare, Boarding & Pet Sitting) Locations: We are currently seeking individuals located in Okotoks, Cochrane, Airdrie, and throughout NW, West, SW, and SE Calgary. Role Focus We are primarily looking for team members who can provide doggy daycare and overnight pet boarding from their own home, with additional opportunities for: Overnight pet sitting in clients'' homes while they are away Dog walking (group and private walks) Drop-in pet care visits (cats and small animals) Doggy Daycare & Boarding (Primary Need) Doggy daycare and overnight boarding provided from your own home Comfortable and confident handling dogs of all sizes Small group care only (typically 13 dogs at a time) Full-time daytime availability preferred (8:00am3:00pm) Overnight boarding is considered day + night care (not separate shifts) Must be willing to carry pet care insurance through our provider (we assist with setup) About Us Active Furiends is a trusted and growing pet care company based in Calgary. As our client base continues to grow, we are expanding our team with dependable, animal-loving individuals. Position Overview This is a multi-role position, starting as part-time, but looking specifically for someone available to grow into a full-time position, with the opportunity to grow into consistent and fuller schedules as clientele builds and meet & greets are completed. We hire on a rolling basis and accept applications year-round. Responsibilities Provide safe, attentive care including feeding, walks, play, and companionship Host dogs in your home for daycare and overnight boarding Stay overnight in clients'' homes when scheduled, following pet routines Administer medications when required and monitor health and behavior Provide enrichment, exercise, and mental stimulation Maintain cleanliness (waste cleanup, litter boxes, basic home tasks if house sitting) Communicate professionally with clients, including daily updates, photos, and videos Be punctual, reliable, and respectful in all client homes Ideal Candidate Genuine love for animals with 1+ year of personal or professional pet care experience 18 years or older with a clean background check Reliable vehicle & valid driver''s license (non-negotiable) Comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, including reactive dogs Able to work independently and responsibly Flexible availability (daytime, overnights, walks as needed) Pet First Aid certified or willing to complete our in-house Pet First Aid course Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Areas We Are Hiring For NW Calgary SE Calgary SW & West Calgary Airdrie (locals only) Cochrane (locals only) Okotoks (locals only) Perks Flexible scheduling as clientele grows Tips & bonus opportunities Supportive, animal-focused team environment In-house Pet First Aid training Team events & professional development opportunities To Apply Email your resume to Please include: Your availability Preferred service areas Whether you are seeking casual or long-term hours If you are interested in doggy daycare/boarding from your home Job Types: Part-time, Full-time Pay: $1,000.00-$2,000.00 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Application question(s): Are you able to provide pet care out of your own home (doggy daycare/dog boarding)?
