Financial Accountant Employment Type Permanent Location Ottawa, Ontario Apply SHARE THIS JOB Job Description: Our client, a well-established real estate company in Ottawa is looking for a Financial Accountant. Reporting into the Controller, this position will be responsible for: - Complete monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and GLs - Assist with creation and monitoring of corporate and operating budgets - Process and reconcile construction draws, progress billings, and retention payments - Track project budgets, commitments, change orders, and actual costs - Work closely with project managers and cross functional teams spanning across the entire organization - Contribute to cash flow forecasting and financial planning activities - Assist with the overview of accounts payable and receivable cycles, ensuring timely billing and receipts - Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes Job Requirements: - 2-3 years relevant accounting experience - Pursuing or has CPA designation - Strong attention to detail, data accuracy and organizational skills - Strong written and verbal communication and business acumen - Self-motivated Additional Information: This role is for a current vacancy Apply
