ABOUT THE JOB Responsibilities Maintain and repair the company''s equipment and facilities on an as-needed basis or by following preventative maintenance programs. Accountable for all Electrical, Instrumentation Controls and plant equipment maintenance to ensure minimal downtime. Ensure proper operation of refrigeration systems and boilers within legal limit. Repair/Replace defective machinery parts, perform equipment adjustments, and fabricate parts when required. Assist in setting up, change over production equipment and work with operators to increase uptime reliability. Troubleshoot and identify root-causes for failures quickly, accurately and determine the best course of action for repair. Take ownership of assigned tasks and complete them in a timely and efficient manner. Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and working experience with pumps, bearings, gearboxes, welding and fabrication. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and extended hours Ability to read and follow detailed SOP''s, repair manuals and blueprints Able to Communicate well with other team members and leadership Either Refrigeration Class B Operator certification or Power Engineer Class 4 is a must, 2 or more is an asset: College diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering Industrial Maintenance Electrician (309) OR Construction Electrician (442A) Industrial Millwright Mechanic 433A Refrigeration Class B Operator certification or Power Engineer Class 4 Marsan Foods is committed to creating a diverse work environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
