Youll train apprentices, lube technicians and other team members so they gain the skills and expertise necessary to meet Members needs. Current and up-to-date training on automotive technologies with a focus on OBD-II courses* Five years of experience as a Journeyperson Technician* Clean BC Driver License Class 5 or better* Ability to lift 70 lbs (32 kg), bend, reach, walk and stand for long periods of time* Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)* Experience with Automotive DMS systems and modern scan tools**Once here, you will:*** Be ultimately responsible for the successful completion of each repair that leaves the shop. This includes your own work and those of other technical team members* Use your expertise to teach, mentor and develop the skills of your team* Lead by example and ensure compliance with BCAA policies and procedures, as well as those from external agencies such as WorkSafe BC* Work collaboratively with the Service Manager to develop, manage, provide counter measures and be accountable for the locations operating plan to achieve monthly and annual labour sales targets* Communicate regularly with Service Advisors and the Service Manager to meet the needs and expectations of our Members* Stay current on technical advances, BCAA products and services, and our competitors offeringsThe salary range for this position is $75,363.00($36.23/hr) to $94,203.84 ($45.29/hr)and is determined viajob-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 9%, with the opportunity to earn up to 15%.*This Full-Time position is 5 days a week, and is an on-site position based out of our Victoria Auto Service Centre (BC).
