Position Overview Finning Canada is hiring two permanent Technical Service Representatives Expanded Mining Products (EMP) to support our Service Operations Team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships and providing technical support for shovel and drill machines across mining operations. You will ensure equipment operation and maintenance meet Caterpillar OEM standards and specifications, while proactively helping customers improve performance and reliability. Key duties include scheduling customer visits, resolving customer concerns, and anticipating future customer requirements to deliver bestinclass service and support. The role may be based in BC and/or AB. What we can offer you Great people and a hybrid work opportunity Career advancement and training opportunities Pension and employee stock purchase plans with company contributions Extensive health benefits including group medical and dental benefits, and shortterm and longterm disability benefits Expected base salary range $105,000 $125,000 annually, reflecting industry standards and candidate fit Job Description Major Job Functions Schedule customer visits, set agendas, and write monthly reports on customer updates Liaise with Finning Parts Department to have necessary parts delivered to the mining customer site Minimize downtime and maintain production requirements as scheduled Send technical analysis to the customers and provide the customer with recommended service options Based on the technical audit of the machine and analysis report, recommend components that need to be changed Develop and maintain open lines of communication with all supportive departments Experience Seasoned HET / Millwright or P. Engg with significant mechanical or high voltage electrical experience or with appropriate mining experience Minimum 5 years experience in a customer service role Shovel and Drills equipment knowledge Caterpillar equipment knowledge is considered an asset Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail Contribute positively to a quality team environment Strong problemsolving skills Highly flexible with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment Ability to work well under pressure Selfstarter and ability to work in a team environment as well as independently Please NOTE Job is based out of the BC region or Edmonton Must be able to work a 7x7 shift work rotation Company vehicle provided Must be able to work from heights and outside for extended amounts of time Must be able to gain access to mine sites Driver''s Abstract This offer is contingent on a satisfactory review of your driver''s abstract, which may be obtained at any local registry branch. The cost of this Driver''s Abstract will be the candidates responsibility. You are required to maintain a valid Drivers License at all times and agree to provide an annual Driver''s Abstract.
