Overview Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to an 83 yr old female with advanced dementia and severe mobility issues. We are looking for someone who can Live in the home and this is full time role. Responsibilities Assist client with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding and meal preparation. Client is immobile, and fully incontinent. Monitor clients'' health by observing changes in their condition and reporting any concerns to Family Help with mobility assistance, including transferring client from beds to wheelchairs or other equipment. Must be able to use a lift device for transfers. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties. Engage client in activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia Skills Experience in senior care environments is highly desirable. Strong caregiving skills with a focus on patient care and compassion. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs. Knowledge of dementia care practices and techniques for working with individuals with disabilities. PSW certificate preferred Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. A clean background check and references are mandatory Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are critical attributes for success in this role.
