Hero''s Welcome is looking for a pizza maker and cook to join our team. We are a dynamic, community focused pub, music venue & event space in the heart of Main street serving up New York style pizza and other pub fare. We are a growing business with full & part time positions available within the pub setting and to service our sandwich shop takeout window. The ideal candidate will be respectful and organized with a positive attitude and willingness to take direction. An attention to detail must also be demonstrated in order to create a consistent product. Ability to communicate effectively within the team is also expected to optimize workflow. Experience with baking and/or dough handling is definitely an asset. On line duties will include: proper setup maintaining and break down of stations hand stretching and baking thin crust pizza assembling hero style sandwiches, appetizers and other bar snacks slicing various cheeses, meats and veggies preparing sauces, spreads, dips & other items from recipes portioning & scaling ingredients stock rotation daily cleaning, dishwashing, sanitizing & logging temperatures as per BC Foodsafe guidelines.
