We are hiring a Staff Software Engineer to join a highly technical Cloud DNS & Networking Platform team. This role focuses on building and scaling the core cloud platform that powers enterprise-grade networking and security services used globally. As a senior individual contributor, you will play a key role in designing, building, and owning backend platform services , working closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams in a cloud-native environment. What Youll Do Design, build, and maintain cloud-native backend services deployed at scale Own and evolve key components of a distributed platform architecture Design and implement high-availability, fault-tolerant systems Partner closely with product, infrastructure, and engineering teams Drive improvements in system reliability, performance, and quality Stay current with trends in cloud platforms, networking, and distributed systems What You Bring 12+ years of professional software development experience Strong hands-on experience with Golang (or similar backend languages) Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Solid knowledge of cloud networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, IPAM preferred) Experience with Amazon Route 53 Experience with system design, distributed architectures, and design patterns Strong background in API design (RESTful services) Experience with concurrency (e.g., goroutines, channels) Hands-on experience with microservices , Docker , and Kubernetes Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Base salary range: $140,000 $230,000 CAD + annual bonus Comprehensive health benefits, generous PTO, and flexible work options Strong learning and career growth programs Paid volunteer time and company-matched charitable giving Collaborative, inclusive engineering culture with modern offices and team events #J-18808-Ljbffr
