One casual Housekeeper position available, starting on March 16, 2026, working various hours per week. - This position requires availability to work weekdays, weekends, and statutory holidays for any of the different shifts (days, evenings, and overnights. Your Role: In this role, you will be responsible for: Performs indoor housekeeping duties in common areas of the building and resident suites. Various tasks and responsibilities throughout different shifts, including cleaning resident''s suites, doing laundry. Maintains a clean, sanitized, safe and attractive environment in order to enhance the health and lives of residents at Luther Village on the Park. Acts as the lead in charge when the fire alarm is activated in the Atrium building. Supports visitors with after-hour entry to secure areas of the building. Monitors the building throughout the evening/overnight to ensure doors are closed and locked. Rotational responsibility to carry the 24/7 on-call phone requiring timely response to unexpected incoming requests for support throughout the shift and building. Works in alignment with the Agency''s commitment to equity to further create a sense of belonging at the Agency. The above tasks are representative but not all-inclusive. Your Talents and Experience: Must have a minimum of a Grade 10 education or equivalent and 3 years of transferable work experience. Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and seniors and maintain a commitment to providing exemplary customer service. Time management skills, including prioritization and multi-tasking, are essential and must have an ability to balance completion of daily task list with on-call requests for support throughout the building. Must be able to work both autonomously as well as part of a multi-service delivery team. Comfort in working under pressure and in a fast-paced work environment with the ability to adapt to change is essential. Basic computer and electronic documentation skills required. Capable of safely lifting cleaning equipment and supplies from floor level and performing repetitious tasks. Demonstrates compassion and empathy to the changing needs of seniors and their families and takes initiative to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming home for the residents and guests of Luther Village on the Park.
