Senior Tax Manager Your role: Working closely with the Partners and other senior staff to develop and implement tax planning assignments for clients Performing and reviewing technical research, developing and documenting tax planning recommendations Reviewing Canadian individual and corporate tax returns and other tax work prepared by staff Consulting with clients regarding various business and tax planning needs Adding value by identifying client service opportunities, including crossteam collaboration Coaching, mentoring, and developing staff for high performance and professional growth Engaging with all levels of our team while working to bring our strategy to life and participate in firmwide events that foster our workplace culture What you bring to the table: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation Successful completion of the CPA Canada InDepth Tax Course 7+ years of public accounting experience in a tax specific environment High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Caseware, and TaxPrep considered an asset Strong analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills Ability to work both independently and with others effectively as part of a team Understanding of a clientfocused, fastpaced work environment and the ability to effectively pivot between tasks and prioritize deliverables to meet conflicting deadlines Experience working with ownermanaged businesses considered an asset Whats in it for you?
