Your Opportunity BDO Canada is looking for a Senior Manager to join the Expatriate Tax Services team. The successful candidate will own the following responsibilities: Provide guidance and training to the team in the preparation of Canadian and US individual tax returns. Review Canadian and US individual income tax returns. Provide daytoday expatriate tax advice, including queries on individual relocations, payroll benefit taxation and reporting. Handle various additional expatriate tax consulting duties such as researching income tax issues and reviewing memoranda or clients letters in the areas of executive compensation, global equity plans, policy design and other expatriate tax issues. Work closely with the Partner in charge of the practice to develop and support the team. Explore future business opportunities with partners across Canada in relation to their clients. Engage in business development initiatives to further grow the practice. How do we define success for your role? Your Experience And Education You have your professional CPA designation. You have 7 or more years of professional experience, part or all of which specializes in Expatriate Tax. You have excellent verbal and written communications skills (French as well as English is an asset). You have the ability to collaborate with team members nationally.
