What we are looking for The Product Coordinator, Central Fraud Services, will be part of the Product Management group that plays a key role in advancing Payments Canadas objective to mitigate fraud risks and enhance the security and integrity of Canada''s payment ecosystem. The incumbent is responsible for hands-on day-to-day activities coordinating, analyzing, and executing on Central Fraud Services work packages, including initiatives related to enhanced fraud detection, prevention, and mitigation. This role will collaborate closely with Transform, Delivery, Run pillars, as well as other cross-functional teams, to provide detailed knowledge of market and technology conditions needed to ensure that necessary features, functionality, and supporting structures are in place. A day in the life Some of the main responsibilities for this role will include: Product Development & Analysis Contribute to and influence pre-discovery and discovery phases, grounded in research and stakeholder insights. Develop journey flows, analyze data, and draft/validate business requirements. Provide well-informed input into the product vision, roadmap, and release plan. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration Coordinate stakeholder meetings (internal and external working-level sessions) including schedule management, agenda planning, meeting materials preparation, and minute taking & distribution. Process Improvement & Delivery Identify and drive process and reporting improvement for fraud services. Provide regular status updates on files and deliverables, and support ad-hoc tasks/projects as needed. What you will need to be successful Minimum of one (1) year of relevant professional experience (e.g., in business analysis, product support, or the financial sector) is required, with two (2) years of experience or direct exposure to fraud management/risk/compliance being highly preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly. Demonstrated desire to grow technical, design thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. Eligibility to successfully complete background checks that will be carried out by Payments Canada, including criminal, credit, identity, employment, and education checks. You will really stand out with Experience with fraud management, risk, or compliance is considered an asset.
