Huron Tractor is one of John Deeres largest partners in Canada, with eleven locations servicing Southern Ontarians.Were proud to serve a community of customers that spans agricultural operations, commercial enterprises and homeowners, with one of the largest inventories of machines and parts in Canada.Job ResponsibilitiesThis position reports to the Branch Manager andis responsible for facility/yard maintenance and delivery of equipment asneeded.Some examples of activities you will beinvolved with include:Ensurecleanliness and professional display of all new and used equipment, trade-insand serviced equipmentLoadand unload inbound and outbound equipmentStock,tag and document new and used equipment into inventoryExecutegeneral yard maintenance, including grass cutting, gravel area upkeep, snowremoval and saltingPerformpre-trip inspections on equipment loads, ensuring safety and roadworthinessprior to deliveryCheckall load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurateComplywith applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods,drivers hours of service, and occupational health and safetyManually handling heavy loads and weight - handle up to 23kg (50lbs)Skills and QualificationsValid Drivers License with a clean driving abstractClass A Restricted Drivers License would be an assetTwo to four years of experience operating and/or transporting equipmentAn attentive, reliable and conscientious individual to handle high value equipmentAbility to operate a forklift, training will be providedExperience with agricultural machinery would be an assetAbility to work with minimal supervision, and flexible to work scheduled and extended hours as neededStrong communication and organization skillsProficiency with computers and familiarity with Microsoft Office softwareTheposted pay range reflects the skills and qualifications listed above.Candidates with higher or lower levels of experience, education or knowledgemay be considered at a point outside the range.Wage Range$23 - $27 per hourPlacement within the wage range is based on skills, experience, and qualificationsApplicants with more or less experience and qualifications may be placed outside the salary rangeWhy Huron Tractor?Our commitment to great customer service starts with the great people on our team.
