POSITION SUMMARYThe Chapter Liaison Officer is a full-time role based in Saskatoon with Canadian Parents for French - Saskatchewan (CPF-SK). Serving as the main link between the Branch and local chapters, the officer supports volunteer leaders, strengthens chapter capacity, and promotes French-second-language education across the province. Responsibilities include communication, membership support, coordination of events and initiatives, and ensuring alignment with CPFs mission. RESPONSIBILITIESServe as the primary liaison between CPFSK and local chapter volunteers.Support and guide chapter executives in planning, governance and volunteer engagement.Facilitate clear and consistent communication between the Branch Office and chapters.Promote CPF programs, events and initiatives that advance Frenchsecondlanguage education.Assist with membership growth, retention and volunteer recruitment activities.Coordinate and attend meetings, training sessions and community events across the province.Monitor and report on chapter activities to ensure alignment with CPFs mission and policies.Develop and share resources, tools and best practices to strengthen chapter operations.Collaborate with staff and volunteers to support strategic goals and special projects.Travel regularly within Saskatchewan and work occasional evenings or weekends as required. EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONSFulltime position (37.5 hrs/wk) until March 31st, 2027. Renewal planned on a yearly basis, dependent on confirmed funding. Starting salary, that is paid weekly, is commensurate with experience and qualifications ($45,000 $55,000) annually. The selected candidates performance will be evaluated after the completion of a threemonth probationary period. Eligible for Group Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance & Disability) after 90 days. QUALIFICATIONSExcellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English.Postsecondary education in a related field (education, communications or community development).Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management position, particularly with volunteers, in the education sector or a related field.Excellent organization and time management abilities.Strong technology skills in Microsoft Office applications and virtual communication tools (Teams). ADDITIONAL CRITERIACandidates must legally be entitled to work in Canada.Experience in the notforprofit sector, member or volunteerdriven organizations, is considered an asset.Supports promoting learning of both official languages and a bilingual Canada. WORKING ENVIRONMENTThe regular office hours are between 9:00 to 5:00 (CST), Monday to Friday. The person must have the ability to work evenings and weekends as required. The position will require travelling.May involve occasional light physical tasks (e.g., lifting office supplies or equipment up to 20 lbs).
