Join our commitment to providing exceptional food service to the best of business and industry.Job SummaryThe unique aspect of this full-time Floating Operations Manager position is that you will support all of our sites, either to provide vacation coverage, support an existing manager or to work on a project(s).Now, if you were to come on board as our Floating Operations Manager, wed ask you to do the following for us:Be responsible for managing the day-to-day food operations at the respective facilityHandle all phases of food preparation, menu planning and development, operation planning and expenditures, sales revenue generation, costing and maintaining proper inventory levelsWhen required, handle unit employee training, staff scheduling, associate supervising, as well as addressing and resolving employee relation issuesEnsure the unit has strict compliance of the Compass Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Program, Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS regulationsEnsure Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards are followed in the food preparation processWork with the regional marketing team to implement unit level programsThe ordering of all products in accordance with Compass Groups buying specificationsMaintaining inventory control and reporting as per Compass Group fiscal scheduleMaintaining proper company cash controls and policies including daily bankingComplete payroll, period summaries and sales reports in a timely and accurate mannerPrepare menus, provide ands on food preparation for daily service and special functionsMaintain appropriate budgetary and cost controlsImplement and manage the Quality Assurance programOther duties as requested by the District Managers or Regional VPThink you have what it takes to be our Floating Operations Manager?
