ResponsibilitiesPerform 2nd party audits for retail clientsManage own work plans for the completion of audits within a determined timeframe, including schedule and workloadSummarize audit findingsCommunicate effectively with clients, Audit Delivery Manager, and Account ManagerDemonstrate a high level of quality and integrity in daily responsibilitiesComplete scheduled audits; 75% of audits are to be completed during the evening and weekends and 25% during standard business hours QualificationsMust have a degreePreferably at least 2 years of experience in food safety, restaurant or grocery operationsExcellent verbal and written communication, analysis and problem-solving skillsWillingness to travel up to 80% of the time including overnight as requiredMust have a valid drivers license without restrictions and reliable transportationMust be able to drive at nightMust have or open a business entity prior to starting the positionMust be able to work a minimum of 20 audit hours per week not including travelPrior food safety experience/knowledgeMust be able to complete scheduled audits; 75% of audits scheduled are to be completed during the evening and weekends and 25% during standard business hoursWill be required to obtain the Certified CP-FS (Certified Professional Food Safety) or equivalent (RS or REHS) certification within 3 months or hire Preferred QualificationsPrior food safety audit experienceServSafe certification Pay: 4060 CAD per audit hour The total pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
