What youll do:As the Supervisor, you will support the day-to-day activities of our Bakery and Deli departments, contributing to high-quality products, consistent production practices, and a positive customer experience. You will work alongside and guide team members while supporting food safety, freshness, and strong product presentation.Lead and support daily Bakery and Deli activities, including production planning, preparation, cooking/baking, finishing, and maintaining appealing product displays.Help ensure all Bakery and Deli products consistently meet Co-op standards for quality, freshness, food safety, and presentation, including participating in freshness reviews and markdowns.Support inventory and ingredient flow through ordering, stock rotation, and waste awareness across both departments.Train, coach, and work alongside team members to support effective workflows, safe food handling, and meeting customer demand.You have a high school diploma or equivalent.You have 12 years of experience in a scratch bakery, food production, or a similar supervisory role.You are knowledgeable in scratch baking methods, food safety practices, and inventory control processes.Youre honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and take pride in producing quality products.You believe in building relationships and working collaboratively to deliver great customer experiences.Why it matters:Our team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners.
