Treasurer Position Volunteer Description (Updated Bylaws) Role of Treasurer Monitor the organizations financial health, including reviewing financial statements, budgets, and cash flow to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability. Prepare, or oversee the preparation of, the Societys financial statements to support internal decisionmaking and fulfill external reporting obligations. Keep accounting records in respect of the Societys financial transactions. Make or delegate the Societys filings respecting taxes.
