Overview Senior Recruitment Specialist at LeverageTek Staffing Solutions LeverageTek is actively seeking an Oracle Functional Consultant for a 6-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer. Work Location Remote Key Tasks Lead the end-to-end project to align Oracle implementation with US Government FAR compliance. Design and implement required system changes to support FAR-compliant billing processes and General Ledger (GL) reporting requirements. Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with government regulations. Provide subject matter expertise on FAR Part 31 cost principles and related compliance rules. Develop and execute test plans to validate system changes. Create process documentation, policies, and training materials to support ongoing compliance. Serve as primary liaison with internal leadership and external auditors/regulators on project deliverables. Key Qualifications Hands-on Oracle ERP expertise Proven experience leading Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud ERP implementations/modifications, specifically around financials, billing, and reporting. Deep knowledge of US Government FAR compliance Strong understanding of FAR Part 31 (cost principles), allowable/unallowable costs, and government contract billing requirements. Project leadership experience Demonstrated ability to lead compliance-focused system projects end-to-end, working across Finance, IT, and Compliance teams to deliver under tight deadlines. Qualifications Proven experience leading Oracle ERP (preferably E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud ERP) projects related to government contracting compliance. Strong knowledge of US Government FAR requirements, particularly cost principles and billing standards. Demonstrated success in implementing compliance-driven system changes, reporting, and controls. Background in financial systems, project accounting, and government contracts billing. Excellent project management and leadership skills; able to drive execution and deliver results under tight timelines. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Experience working with engineering, consulting, or professional services firms supporting government clients.
