Purpose To provide supervisory oversight for a group(s) of Concrete Reinforcing Technicians (CRTs), including coordinating work, ensuring that job standards are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. Duties and Responsibilities Demonstrate leadership consistent with Nucor Rebar Fabrications vision and values. Supervise CRTs, review their work, assist with any reported difficulties, and identify ways to correct deficiencies. Responsible for continually reassessing drafting techniques and recommending integrated, cost-effective solutions to improving efficiencies, and participating in the development of recommended actions. Track employees progress on assigned work. Assist in the performance review process and recommend appropriate salary adjustments as needed for assigned CRT personnel. Perform other duties as required by your supervisor. Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements Vocational certificate in CAD design/drafting issued from an accredited school or college or equivalent At least 3-5 years of experience as a Senior CRT Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience Requires thorough knowledge of NRFs drafting system General supervisory skills or supervisory training Able to manage time effectively and prioritize responsibilities Effective verbal and communication skills Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements 2-year technical diploma from an accredited school or college Critical thinking skills and have the ability to creatively motivate CRTs Physical Demands Typical office activities Using hands to operate objects, tools, computers and other electronic equipment Lifting/handling computers and related equipment Vision abilities including close vision and adjusting focus Nucor Rebar Fabrication is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
