Job Description We boast a seasoned multidisciplinary crew ready to support your land development endeavor. To guarantee seamless project delivery, we provide an allencompassing approach and a comprehensive array of services. Whether its crafting commercial plans or orchestrating urban subdivisions, we strive to uncover optimal solutions, positioning ourselves as your trusted partner in land development. Armed with a wealth of project experience and an indepth grasp of municipal requirements, the Egis team has expertise in the municipal approvals process. Tailoring our approach to the specific nature of the development, we meticulously prepare engineering documents necessary for submission. These documents serve as a testament to our unwavering commitment to adhere to municipal design standards and criteria, assuring the municipality that the proposed development wont adversely affect adjacent properties or downstream infrastructure. Embedded within Egiss land development process is a thorough assessment of natural features on each site. Our meticulous plans are designed to minimize environmental impacts while ensuring the sustainable development of your project. Key Responsibilities Designing and drafting of engineering/construction drawings for various land development projects; Creating plans, profiles and 3D drawings in civil 3D format; Interpreting and implementing standards from regulatory bodies; Producing written reports for development projects; Producing design spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel; Enhancing data charts and tables for presentation; Producing and modifying drawings; Maintaining positive client relationships with internal and external stakeholders; Providing site supervision on construction projects; Keeping up to date on the latest design tools and aids in CAD/Civil3D in consultation with senior CAD staff. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have the following background, skills and attributes: Completion of a college diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering Design Technology, or similar. Up to 5 years of industry experience with focus on land development or municipal engineering design and construction. Proficiency working with design tools such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Experience working with Projectwise, BIM360, Procore, Sharepoint or other cloudbased platforms is considered an asset. Welldeveloped computer and analytical skills. Knowledge of or experience in the field on construction projects would be an asset. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Strong attention to detail, problemsolving skills and ability to think creatively. Ability to work with engineers on multidisciplinary development projects. Possess a valid drivers license and have access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance.
