We serve both retail and wholesale markets from our locations in Regina, Emerald Park, Yorkton, Estevan, and Weyburn.We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Parts Counter Specialist to join our Weyburn team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with customers, has a passion for automotive parts, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Job SummaryAs a Parts Counter Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing expert advice, product knowledge, and outstanding service. You will assist customers over the counter and by phone helping them find the right parts for their vehicles or equipment. You will also support merchandising initiatives, and contribute to a clean, organized, and professional store environment.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist customers in a friendly, professional, and sales-focused mannerSell parts, provide quotes, and advise customers on product options and compatibilityAssist customers in selecting required parts, suggesting companion products when appropriateProcess payments accurately and efficiently via POS, cash, debit, or credit transactionsHandle returns and warranty itemsParticipate in merchandising and visual display initiatives to enhance product visibilityEnsure overall cleanliness and organization of the store, displays, and outside areasProtect and maintain the security of store assetsStay up to date on new products, industry innovations, and company promotionsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAutomotive knowledge or experience an asset; industrial, agricultural, or paint knowledge is a plusProven experience in retail, customer service, or automotive parts sales preferredStrong communication, organizational, and multitasking skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions and inventoryPhysically able to lift up to 50 lbsProficiency with computers and POS systemsFriendly, professional, and sales-oriented demeanorAbility to work flexible hours, including weekendsAt Auto Electric Service Ltd. and Mainline Fleet Service, we believe our people are the key to our success.
