They participate in unique adventures and face challenges specific to maritime work, often working in tight or exposed environments to repair and maintain equipment.Regular shifts are typically day shifts onboard the assigned ship. The Military Rank Study Subsidized Program (PIESMR) covers tuition fees for recruits enrolled in approved Canadian college programs, including basic military training and summer on-the-job training.
