Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop Territory Sales Representatives (TSRs) to ensure strong territory coverage, pipeline health, and disciplined sales execution. Translate regional growth objectives into actionable territory and account plans, including local account development and share-of-wallet growth. Conduct formal quarterly performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. Drive new customer acquisition and local account growth across a broad range of industrial markets. Partner with TSRs on prospecting strategies, executive-level customer engagement, and complex opportunities within local and regional accounts. Support penetration of multi-site customers where ownership remains within the local sales organization. Develop and implement sales strategies that support diversification, local market penetration, and sustainable growth. Monitor competitive activity, pricing dynamics, and customer buying behaviors within assigned markets. Identify emerging technologies, suppliers, and solution opportunities to strengthen Applieds local value proposition. Partner with key suppliers to align growth initiatives, training, and joint customer development plans. Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Service teams to ensure alignment between sales commitments and operational capabilities. Support marketing initiatives including customer events, trade shows, and supplier-sponsored programs. Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of Territory Sales Representatives. Build a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, value creation, and customer partnership. Own revenue growth, gross margin performance, and pipeline development for assigned markets. Drive consistent forecasting discipline and opportunity hygiene. Ensure full adoption and ongoing compliance with Applieds CRM platform, including opportunity management, activity tracking, pipeline accuracy, and forecast integrity. Coach TSRs on CRM best practices to support data-driven decision-making and leadership visibility. Maintain regular field presence with TSRs and customers to drive engagement and execution excellence. Travel approximately 60% within the assigned region. Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred. 7+ years of industrial sales experience, ideally within MRO, OEM, or project-driven environments. 3+ years of sales leadership or management experience with direct reports. Proven ability to drive local account growth, new customer acquisition, and margin improvement. Strong communication skills across email, phone, and digital collaboration platforms. Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed organization. Success Measures Revenue and margin growth across growth-oriented and local markets.
