Client Support Attendant (Social Services Diploma) Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Client Support Attendant to join the team at Adanac Park Lodge in Vancouver, BC. The successful candidate will provide support to clients with complex health and cognitive needs in a traumainformed longterm care setting. Salary CAD $30.96 per hour. Responsibilities Establish a supportive presence that promotes traumainformed interventions and clinical services to cultivate safety and respect. Assist clients and caregivers from diverse cultural backgrounds, liaising with clinicians, community services and nursing staff. Support the interdisciplinary team during care planning and client care activities. Participate in fire, safety and security functions as a member of the onshift response team and intervene in nonclinical emergencies. Education & Experience Social Services Diploma from a recognized program and at least one year of recent related experience (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience). Knowledge & Abilities Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with others. Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position. Ability to organize work. Hours & Conditions Work hours, days off and work area may change per operational requirements and collective agreement.
