OverviewSenior Marketing Specialist - 12 Month Contract. Canada Lifes Marketing & Experience team is seeking a writer to craft showstopping content that supports member communications within the Workplace Benefits & Retirement team division. This is a temporary full-time role with hybrid work opportunities. What You Will DoDevelop and execute a variety of strategic, high-quality communications independently and with business partnersCraft content and copy that is engaging, timely and appropriate for the audienceAdvocate for new communication approaches to elevate delivery effectivenessEnsure communication, brand consistency and style guide requirements are followedIdentify risks and gaps throughout projectsCoordinate and deliver communications plansManage project trackers to ensure deliverables stay on trackProvide communications expertise and guidance to business partners as requiredWhat You Will Bring3+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or marketingA degree in English and/or French, journalism or media and information, and/or a post-secondary diploma in communications or public relations or equivalent experienceStrong demonstrated business writing and marketing writing skills; writing samples or exercises may be requestedDemonstrated creativity and passion for the workExperience managing projects is an assetBi-lingualism is preferred (French & English); required for QuebecReliability Status security clearance required for access to Protected B informationYoull fit best with our team if youreSelf-motivated, highly organized and able to multi-taskAn exceptional written communicatorAdaptable to changing priorities and able to meet deadlinesCollaborative, open and positive communicatorPassionate, energetic and enthusiasticDetail-oriented when it matters and flexible when neededDriven to get the job done, sometimes outside of traditional work hoursComfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentLocation and RequirementsThe position may be located at one of the following head offices: London, Toronto or Winnipeg. The base salary is between $63,500 $117,400 annually.
