If so, joining the Made in Canada Gifts team may be the perfect fit for you!Key ResponsibilitiesAttend to customers with enthusiasm, maturity, and strong product knowledgeConduct sales transactions using a computerized point-of-sale systemRespond to customer communications by telephone and occasionally by emailEnsure accuracy in all cash transactions, inventory counts, and store proceduresMaintain and enhance in-store product merchandisingMaintain appearance of store, including cleaning of display shelving and floorsRemoval of recycling and garbage from storePotentially assist with managing social media and/or other marketing activitiesAlways work collaboratively as a team with other employees and store managementRequirementsPrevious experience in a professional retail environment is highly desirableStrong communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge and/or strong interest in Canadian and Indigenous artisanal productsAbility to serve customers in both English and French is highly desirableAvailability to work a minimum of 2-3 shifts per weekPhysical stamina to work on your feet for long shifts, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.Post-secondary education (or partial) is preferred.
