Henjes, Conner & Williams, PC is seeking an experienced senior tax accountant to work in our Dakota Dunes, SD office. Our ideal candidate would possess five or more years of experience in public accounting (or similar environment). This key professional position is open immediately and offers an excellent opportunity for leadership and career advancement for the right candidate.ResponsibilitiesReview individual and business income tax returns and train staffPerform income, estate, gift, sales and payroll tax researchPreparation of complex individual, business, and fiduciary income tax returnsPrepare tax projections and related planning documentsRespond to governmental correspondenceVarious projects as assigned to assist Partners and Management staff in helping our clients in achieve their financial goalsQualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, masters in taxation, or law degree, CPA, or CPA candidate preferredTwo or more years experience in public accounting (or similar environment) is requiredAbility to research and apply tax code to complex business situationsKnowledge of professional audit and accounting standardsPassion for excellence and professional growthOutstanding attention to detailHigh moral and ethical standardsTakes ownership and pride in their workHighly motivated self-starterAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projectsExcellent analytical, communication, organizational, and computer skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeExperience with CCH Axcess software applications a plusHenjes, Conner & Williams, PC is a growing, local CPA firm located in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota seeking talented individuals interested in opportunities for a challenging, rewarding career.
