Seeking a friendly, customer-service oriented, and professional delivery driver for part-time work within a catering operation. Main duties include assisting within our two production kitchens to package and transport food to our corporate and in-home clients within Ottawa. Other duties include general kitchen cleaning and support, and internal transfers of products between kitchens or setting up on event sites, as directed by the Executive and Catering Chefs. Shifts may be irregular, as they are dependent upon client catering orders. They typically fall between 7am-4pm, Monday to Friday, however occasional weekend work may be required based on customer volume. Anticipated hours per week are between 10-20 hours. Experience with handling and transporting food and previous kitchen experience is not a requirement, but an asset We are looking forward to hearing from you Use of company vehicle (Ford Transit Van) for deliveries is mandatory. Must hold a valid G-level driver''s license with a clean drivers abstract. Must be comfortable driving a transit van and lifting up to 50lbs. Starting pay of $20-25/hour based on experience.
