Duties Execute Menu Excellence: Prepare and cook menu items to high standards, ensuring consistency in flavor, presentation, and temperature. Kitchen Operations: Manage your station efficiently, including prep work, stocking, and organizing ingredients for service. Equipment Mastery: Safely operate and maintain commercial kitchen appliances (grills, fryers, ovens, etc.). Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a spotless workspace and ensure strict compliance with food safety and health regulations. Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with front-of-house and bar staff to ensure a smooth guest experience. Inventory Support: Assist in monitoring stock levels and minimizing food waste through smart rotation and portion control. Qualifications Certification: Valid Food Handlers Certificate is required. Experience: Proven experience working in a commercial kitchen with a solid understanding of professional cooking techniques. Technical Skill: Demonstrated ability to operate and troubleshoot commercial kitchen appliances. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts and lift/carry loads up to 50 lbs. Soft Skills: Excellent time management and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure. Bilingualism: Fluency in both official languages is considered a strong asset.
