Hybrid (Must be GTA-based) Position Overview: Were looking for an experienced Senior Database Administrator (DBA). You will collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to build secure, high-performing solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain database systems and environments Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and reliability Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks and data integrity problems Collaborate with development teams to design and implement efficient database schemas Develop and maintain database backup and recovery strategies Implement security measures to protect sensitive dataPerform database capacity planning and resource utilization analysis Develop and maintain documentation for database systems, including standard operating procedures Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role Strong knowledge of Linux operating system Proficiency in database administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of server databases such as MySQL Experience with SQL programming and query optimization Familiarity with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for ETL processes Knowledge of shell scripting for automation tasks Experience with Java programming is a plus Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
