With a presence in 90 countries and a team of nearly 13,000 experts, we provide 24/7 support to help organisations fulfil their Duty of Care responsibilities.Now, were looking for talented individuals to join our team and make a difference.Overall Purpose of JobTo provide a high level of nursing care to all personnel working on the jobsite while participating in the day-to-day administrative and contractual requirements of the delivery of remote medical services and health and wellness.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain standards of practice as directed by the Nurse Practitioner/Medical DirectorComply with International SOS and Canadian Industrial Paramedics Operating ProceduresEnsure that patients are managed in a professional and customer friendly mannerMaintain clinical skills and participate in annual skills assessment testing in basic life support and other identified clinical skillsBe familiar with the occupational health needs of the clientUndertake specific roles that may be delegated by the Nurse Practitioner in chargeGreet patients when they enter the clinic and ensure they are logged into the systemHave a good working knowledge of Medical Records storage and retrievalParticipate in all internal training activities on sitesBe prepared for all types of emergency situations by active participation in all internal trainingActively maintain skills through ongoing educationAssist with the internal training program on site by preparing/presenting training sessions as requestedUnderstand equipment maintenance program and participate as appropriate when requestedEnsure equipment is in good condition and alert site leadership if there is a suspected problemEnsure all stock is intact and within dateMaintain inventories of all stock as per the ProcedureEnsure infection control practices are followed at all times in line with guidelinesObserve that all colleagues are utilizing Standard PrecautionsMaintain patient records as care is provided in an objective, complete, and timely mannerParticipate in scheduled meetings and other activities as requestedParticipate in committees or working groups as requestedAny other reasonable duties that may be requested from time to time by managementAbout YouMust-haves (minimum requirements):Work experience as a Registered NurseACLSExceptional collaboration with other groups and the ability to work under pressureCurrent registration with the BCCNPA valid drivers license and a clean driving recordAlignment with our values of expertise,passion,respect and carePreference ForExperience in an industrial settingA high level of knowledge and the ability to interpret relevant medical and operational guidelines, protocols, policies and proceduresKnowledge of Microsoft Office suiteCollaborate with others in order to achieve the best results and deliver the most valueHold others accountable, and expect others to do the sameWhere youll be working, your work schedule, and other important information:You will work out of our camp-based client sites.
