Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to company standards. Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling. Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit. Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling food items and maintaining cleanliness of the food service area. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met by following proper handling procedures. Manage cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and dining spaces. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and notifying management of shortages. Uphold food safety protocols and adhere to health regulations at all times. Skills Previous Barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred. Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse patrons. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and ensure smooth operations. Prior experience in serving or food preparation is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for all new team members committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
