Requirements Five By Five is looking for an experienced lead jack (of all trades). The candidate will expect to take the lead on tasks and have the discipline to make the best efforts to make optimal decisions. Provide proof of eligibility to work in Canada Minimum of 3 years experience in the Canadian construction market Experience overseas in a Commonwealth country is considered an asset Experience in farming and/or horticulture, with preference to the growth of fruit trees, native Canadian vegetation Duties Rough carpentry Basic rough-in electrical, plumbing, duct work Drywall hanging, mud/tape/sanding/finish carpentry, tiling Concrete work including small flatwork, drilling, screwing into concrete ICF construction & knowledge Floor installation Valid Canadian Drivers License proof must be provided Registered, insured truck Must have accommodations in the Fernie area proof to be provided Drug & alcohol testing & Physical fitness/aptitude test will be conducted upon intent to hire Focus/desire to follow WorKSafeBC & Workers Compensation policies, guidelines, behave safely/respectfully To Apply Please use the contact information as directed in the listing.
