Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial operations. The Junior Accountant will support activities such as bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial reporting, contributing to the overall efficiency of our financial services. Duties Manage accounts payable and back-up for accounts receivable processes Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial data Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and ledger maintenance Support financial planning activities by preparing relevant reports Conduct internal audits and assist with external auditing processes as needed Back-up for payroll and Reception Prepare detailed account reconciliation reports and analyze discrepancies Maintain organized records Qualifications Minimum 2 years college education in accounting Strong understanding of accounting principles including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and account analysis Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Effective communication skills to interpret financial data clearly Prior experience in bookkeeping or financial services is preferred but not required This position is an excellent entry point for individuals looking to grow their career in accounting within a professional environment that values accuracy, integrity, and continuous learning.
