Safety Profile Coordinator: On Road Violations Full-time Hartland, NB (On-site) The Safety Coodinator: On Road Violations is a key role within the safety team and is the lead for all on road violations to ensure Day & Ross'' operating authorities are protected. How You''ll Help: Manage data associated with external violations Fines, Inspections, etc Engage legal representatives to dispute fines where relevant Document unreported violations located on profiles as provided by Safety Analyst Liaise with safety & operations to ensure training and other required actions are completed Complete all follow ups, ensuring all relevant information is saved to driver file Identify corrective action required for individual events and provide guidance and monitoring to ensure completion. Collect, interpret and summarize information to prepare reporting for Safety Ensure accuracy in administrative process and databases Prepare and present presentations to the business on driver behaviour data to assist in modifying unsafe behaviours. Remain current on field by reading publications, talking with peers and understanding NSC regulations, review regulatory bulletins and other sources of information to research and stay up-to-date on regulations. Other related duties as may be required Your Skills & Experience: A suitable combination of education and experience may be considered; post-secondary education in Business Administration is considered an asset Training and knowledge of the NSC regulations in Canada and the US a strong asset Possess working knowledge of Commercial driver safety; ability to keep up to date with NSC regulations, safety trends and new developments Two years'' experience in an administrative or regulatory role, preferably in the transportation industry Ability to communicate to individuals / groups both face-to-face and in distance settings using education tools as required by building and maintaining excellent relationships with colleagues and drivers Possess an understanding of the National Safety Code of Canada (NSC) and other government safety legislations; and ability to research regulatory requirements Problem solving at a strategic level; working with and through others to reach a resolution Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely using appropriate mediums, listen effectively, demonstrate understanding and clarify meaning for others.
