Assistant Professor-Department of Mathematics (Mathematics and Statistics) WILFRID LAURIER UNIVERSITY FACULTY OF SCIENCE DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS The Department of Mathematics at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for a Tenure Track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in Mathematics and Statistics beginning July 1, 2026 , subject to budgetary approval. The primary campus location for this position is the Waterloo campus; however, teaching responsibilities may include instruction at the Brantford or Milton campuses via in-person or virtual delivery. Anticipated Salary Range: $90,000 to $135,000. Actual salary to be commensurate with experience. Duties and responsibilities of the position will include undergraduate and graduate teaching and supervision; research, including the establishment of an externally funded research program; and servicerelated activities. Applicants must hold a Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) in Mathematics, statistics or a closely related area, demonstrate an excellent research record and the potential to build a strong, independent research program in mathematics or statistics, preference will be given to applicants working in Pure or Applied Mathematics or any area that supports the Departments programs, demonstrate an excellent teaching record or show strong evidence of potential excellence in teaching.
