Were Hiring: Project Manager (PM) (Fully Remote | 1099 NEC | W2 Negotiable for US Residents) Help Scale and Deliver High-Performance SEO & Web Projects for Growing Local Businesses Websiteness is looking for a senior-level Project Manager / Delivery Lead to own execution, strategy oversight, and team leadership across all services we deliver. This role has four core responsibilities: - Manage execution and delivery across client accounts and internal teams. - Guide, perform, and QA SEO strategy as a primary service offering - Oversee and manage fulfillment delivery across all services, including SEO, websites, social media, paid ads, lead magnets, phone answering, and automation - Lead and manage a fulfillment team of 710 specialists This role is the operational and strategic backbone of our fulfillment engine. You will be responsible for assisting with and overseeing client SEO strategies, turning client packages and SEO strategies into executable plans, assigning and tracking work, protecting timelines, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks, and maintaining delivery quality standards as we scale. This is not a coordination role. This is a hands-on, execution-driven position for someone who combines strong SEO judgment with operational leadership and treats delivery outcomes as their responsibility. What Youll Do - Project & Delivery Ownership (All Services) - Own end-to-end delivery for assigned client accounts across all services - Translate client packages and strategies into actionable tasks, timelines, and priorities - Build, assign, and track work in ClickUp on a daily and weekly basis - Coordinate across SEO, Content, Development, Design, Social Media, Paid Ads, and Operations teams - Run recurring internal meetings and performance reviews to ensure alignment, momentum, and accountability - Track progress, remove blockers, and escalate risks before they become problems - Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and to spec - Manage intake, planning, and prioritization of client requests - SEO Strategy & Quality Control (Primary Expertise) - Develop, assist with, and refine SEO strategies based on client goals, competition, and constraints - Review and QA SEO audits, keyword research, content plans, and technical recommendations - Set priorities and sequencing for SEO initiatives - Ensure SEO strategy translates into clear, executable deliverables - Adjust SEO strategy based on performance data and execution realities - Oversight of Additional Services You will oversee delivery quality, timelines, and execution standards for services including: - Social media posting and optimization - Lead magnet creation and deployment - Paid advertising (GLSA, Meta Ads, Google Ads) - Phone answering and intake services - Website builds, updates, and CRO - Automation and internal workflows You are not expected to be the deepest technical expert in every service - but you must understand how they work, how theyre delivered, and how to hold specialists accountable. Team Leadership, Systems & Scale - Directly manage and lead a fulfillment team of 710 specialists - Set expectations, review performance, and enforce accountability - Oversee onboarding and training of new team members - Create, update, and maintain SOPs and process documentation -Improve delivery systems through automation and AI-driven workflows How This Role Thinks Like an Owner This role is for someone who views themselves as a partner in a small, growing company, not just a task manager or strategist. You will be expected to: - Balance strategy, execution, capacity, and quality across multiple services - Make confident day-to-day delivery and prioritization decisions - Identify inefficiencies and propose better ways to deliver results - Communicate tradeoffs clearly when timelines, scope, or performance are at risk - Treat client outcomes, retention, and service quality as your responsibility - Youll be empowered to make execution and SEO decisions independently. Escalation is expected only when issues materially impact timelines, scope, or client outcomes. What You Must Bring This is not a junior role. You must be comfortable owning strategy, timelines, and results. Required - 3+ years experience in project management (agency experience strongly preferred) - 3+ years experience in SEO execution and strategy (agency experience strongly preferred) - Proven ability to develop and guide SEO strategies, not just execute tasks - High-level understanding of SEO, including: - Technical SEO (crawling, indexing, site structure, Core Web Vitals) - Keyword research and search intent mapping - Content strategy and on-page optimization - Internal linking and site architecture - Local SEO (GBP optimization, citations, reviews) - SEO reporting, performance analysis, and iteration - Experience managing delivery across multiple marketing services - Proven experience managing cross-functional remote teams - High proficiency with ClickUp or similar project management tools - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to manage multiple accounts and services without losing urgency or detail - Comfort documenting processes and building SOPs - Fluent, professional English (written and spoken) Nice to Have - Hands-on experience with Paid Ads (GLSA, Meta Ads, Google Ads) - Familiarity with social media management, lead magnets, CRO, and automation - Exposure to modern marketing frameworks (e.g., Russell Brunson, Alex Hormozi) Traits Were Looking For Our team runs on EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), and we take ownership and execution seriously.
