Job Description

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Bilingual Trainer (SharePoint Online - SPO) for a 2-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer. Work Location Hybrid / Ottawa - must be available to provide training sessions onsite at the customer Ottawa-based office location Security Requirement Must hold for a Government of Canada Secret Level II Clearance. Key Tasks Training Plan Review Contractor should become familiar with the organizations IT Training Plan to get a good understanding of the learning objectives, user requirements, and deliverables. Adjustments to the plan within the limits of the key milestones (UAT and Go-Live) will be considered as required. Training Materials Development The Contractor will; Design and produce the following materials in English: Instructor-led session outlines, Detailed User Guide including basic to expert tasks, technical information and step by step instructions, Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) for basic and intermediate tasks, FAQ Document based on testing feedback and typical questions. Coordinate with IT for internal translation. Provide Word versions and PDFs versions of all documents once approved. Ensure materials are accessible as per organizations accessibility policies. Incorporate real-time feedback from testing and training sessions to improve the materials. Update FAQ and guides as necessary throughout the training phase. Instructor-Led Sessions The Contractor will: Deliver three training sessions, with a maximum of 30 participants per session as follows: Two sessions for basic users: one in English, one in French, All sessions must be delivered in a hybrid manner both virtual and onsite at the organizations Ottawa-based office location, Sessions must be interactive and include a period of questions. The instructor-led sessions will be recorded (including transcripts) to allow employees who cannot attend to refer to them in the future. Coordinate with the organizations IT stakeholder group for internal translation, as required. Project Management The Contractor will: Participate in status meetings as required; Provide regular updates and communicate risks and issues; and Share training material drafts with project teams as requested. All documents must be saved in SharePoint Online (project team to provide the exact location). Key Qualifications Candidates must be Bilingual (English/French) and have the ability to development training content and deliver training sessions in both official Languages. Candidates must hold an active Secret Level II security clearance, for handling Protected B information in accordance with the organizations (Security Requirements). Must have a minimum of 3-years recent experience in a Lead Trainer role in developing training materials and delivering training sessions for custom-built IT / Technology solutions. Assets Experience developing content and deliver training sessions related to SharePoint Online (SPO) would be a significant asset. Experience in a Lead Trainer capacity within Government / Crown Corporation environments would be an asset. Bringing existing training content development and training delivery templates and best practices would be an asset. Compensation Hourly Rate Negotiable This is an existing position vacancy.
