As Senior Development Lead & Partner , you will own our Impact suite of proprietary applications, contribute directly to customer implementation projects on Power Platform , and set the technical standards that the rest of the team works within. This is a role for an experienced professional who has spent years solving complex problems on Power Platform and related Microsoft technologies, and who is ready to bring that depth to a company where their expertise shapes the product and the practice. We expect you to operate at a senior level from day one. You will be the person architecting solutions, making technical decisions with confidence, and setting the quality bar for the team. This is not a role where you will be learning Power Platform ; it is a role where you will be leading with it. The role comes with an equity stake and a seat at the leadership table. You will have real influence over what we build and how we build it. Product direction is a shared leadership decision; your distinct responsibility is turning those decisions into working software. What Youll Do Build and evolve our proprietary products Own the development of Impact: Insights (live and in use with clients) and lead the build of Impact: Fundraising as it moves into development Contribute to the product roadmap alongside the leadership team, bringing your engineering perspective to feature prioritization and architecture decisions Ensure our products meet AppSource certification, solution checker compliance, and Microsofts code quality standards Deliver on customer implementation projects Develop solutions on Power Platform for client engagements, including custom builds, integrations, data migrations, and platform configuration Oversee development quality across customer projects, reviewing code and validating architecture decisions Architect technical solutions for client requirements, owning the design decisions and ensuring we build the right thing the right way Identify patterns across engagements and build reusable components that accelerate future delivery Own the DevOps environment and technical standards Stand up and maintain GitHub repositories, build and release pipelines, branching strategies, and deployment automation Define and follow coding standards using SonarQube Online, Dataverse solution checker, and IDE-level tooling Architect and build Azure infrastructure (Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Key Vault) that supports our products and client solutions Champion an AI-first development methodology, embedding tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude into every stage of the workflow Create and maintain technical documentation, coding guidelines, and architecture decision records Contribute to business growth Provide technical input on statements of work, proposals, and effort estimates Support RFP responses with credible technical content and solution design Participate in LinkedIn campaigns, write technical blog posts, and contribute to YouTube content Represent MIP at industry events including Dynamics User Group Summit and Power Platform Conference What Were Looking For 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Model-driven apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Pages) Proven track record of architecting and delivering end-to-end solutions on Power Platform in a consulting or implementation setting Experience architecting and building on Azure (Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Key Vault, App Services) Solid understanding of DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated testing, and release management Demonstrated ability to make independent technical decisions, design scalable architectures, and mentor other developers Comfort working with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar) Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical decisions for non-technical stakeholders Relevant Microsoft certifications (or willingness to obtain them) Nice to have: Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Power BI Familiarity with SonarQube, AppSource certification, or ISO compliance in a development context Prior experience at a small or growing company where you wore multiple hats Base Salary: $150,000 CAD per annum Equity: Up to 2% ownership in Mission Impact Partners Ltd. 20 days annual leave regardless of seniority 5 days of learning holidays for professional certifications and training 5 days reserved for conferences and offsites 12 statutory holidays per year 10 days annual sick leave $10,000 CAD annual RRSP contribution $5,000 annual training and education budget Monthly internet allowance (up to $150 CAD) Competitive health and wellness plan, effective from day one This is a rare opportunity for a senior Power Platform professional to join a company at the ground level with equity, influence, and the freedom to build.
