Focus Systems is seeking a SAP Frontend Developer to design, build, and support modern mobile applications within the SAP ecosystem. This role is ideal for a developer with strong SAP MDK experience, offline-first mobile development skills, and solid knowledge of SAP Mobile Services. Location: Onsite in Regina, SK OR Remote within Canada Role Overview The SAP Frontend Developer will design, develop, test, and deploy SAP mobile solutions that support business operations. You will collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and IT teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly SAP MDK applications. Key Responsibilities Design and develop mobile applications using SAP MDK on SAP BTP Implement offline-first functionality and synchronization rules Publish and manage apps using SAP Mobile Services Develop backend extensions using SAP CAP (Node.js or Java) Maintain HDI containers and database artifacts in SAP HANA Cloud Configure destinations, authentication (OAuth/SAML), roles, and security policies Debug, optimize, and troubleshoot mobile applications Support unit testing and collaborate on UAT activities Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides Support SAP development, break/fix, and custom enhancements Document RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflow) Mandatory Qualifications SAP certification in BTP, MDK, or Mobile Services Experience with SAP Asset Manager / SAP Service & Asset Manager 3+ years hands-on experience with SAP MDK, SAP BAS, and SAP BTP Mobile Services Strong experience building MDK pages, rules, actions, and OData integrations (SAP S/4HANA) Expertise with offline sync configuration and mobile deployment (iOS/Android) Ability to design, build, and deploy Fiori applications and extensions Assets / Preferred Experience General understanding of application programming, database, and system design.
