This role focuses on designing highfidelity user interfaces for complex, workflowdriven applications used daily by global financial professionals. As part of the Ratings Workflow Solutions team, you will shape how Fitchs products look, feel, and performbringing precision, hierarchy, and polish to datadense experiences where trust, efficiency, and usability matter deeply. You will partner closely with Product Designers, UX Researchers, Engineers, and senior stakeholders to translate user needs and product strategy into beautiful, scalable, and usable digital interfaces. Well Count on You To Lead Visual Quality Across Digital Products: Set and maintain a high visual bar across Fitch Ratings Workflow applications. Design refined, accessible, and responsive interfaces that balance elegance with functional clarity. Apply strong visual hierarchy to make complex data and workflows intuitive and efficient Design for Scale and Systems: Contribute to and evolve a multibrand design system used across multiple products. Define reusable UI patterns, components, and standards that support consistency and quality. Ensure visual integrity is maintained from concept through implementation. Partner Deeply Across Disciplines: Collaborate with Product Designers and UX Researchers to translate insights, journeys, and requirements into highquality visual solutions. Work closely with engineers during handoff and build phases. Engage directly with senior stakeholders, articulating visual decisions with clarity and confidence. Champion Craft, Accessibility, and Innovation: Leverage AIassisted design tools to accelerate exploration, iteration, and refinement Advocate for accessibility best practices, inclusive design, and modern UI standards. Continuously refine designs based on usability testing, qualitative feedback, and quantitative product data. What You Need to Have 7+ years of experience in visual, UI, or product design with a strong focus on digital products or applications. An exceptional portfolio demonstrating highquality UI design for complex, datarich, or workflowheavy products. Expertlevel proficiency in Figma, including highfidelity UI, component libraries, and Dev Mode documentation. Deep understanding of typography, layout systems, color theory, and interaction design in product environments. Strong design judgment and the ability to clearly explain visual decisions and tradeoffs. Experience working within crossfunctional, Agile product teams. What Would Make You Stand Out Experience contributing to or leading design systems used across multiple products or brands. Experience designing enterprise, fintech, SaaS, or internal workflow applications. Comfort designing within technical constraints (component frameworks, performance considerations). A portfolio that shows both bigpicture systems thinking and finegrained UI detail. Experience mentoring designers or elevating visual quality across a team. About the Team Youll join a 25person UX organization that includes Product Designers, UX Researchers, and Design System Specialists. FOR TORONTO ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between 120,000 CAD and 145,000 CAD per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other jobrelated factors.
