Our client is a leading provider of innovative healthcare technology solutions focused on organ transplantation and allocation. They deliver powerful, scalable platforms that support national-level transplantation networks by improving referral management, streamlining workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency for transplant centers and organ procurement organizations. The ETL & Functional Tester reports to the Director of Solution Implementation and provides a broad range of integration and application testing services across client projects. This role works closely with QA Engineers, QA Leads, and broader technical teams to ensure solutions meet the highest quality standards through rigorous datafocused testing. Key Responsibilities Integration & Data Testing Execute database testing, data transformation testing, data integration, and data migration testing to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems. Take ownership of automated and manual quality assurance for assigned projects, establishing quality controls, metrics, and best practices. Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test strategies, test plans, and test cases covering system, integration, performance, and regression testing. Maintain a traceability matrix to validate complete coverage of client requirements. Write, refine, and execute test scripts at all testing levels (system, regression, integration, performance). Contribute to defect management, ensuring timely identification, reporting, and resolution of issues. Project & Team Collaboration Identify risks and provide actionable recommendations throughout testing activities. Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) or Agile/Waterfall phases as required. Mentor junior teammates, providing knowledgesharing on integration QA practices. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth project delivery and effective stakeholder communication. Support Test Data Management solutions and ensure compliance with accessibility standards for web projects (e.g., AODA). Continuous Improvement & Professionalism Stay up to date on new QA tools, technologies, and frameworks. Contribute to ongoing improvements in QA processes, tools, and automation practices. Deliver highquality client outcomes while adhering to security, privacy, and confidentiality policies. Foster collaborative client relationships by maintaining professionalism, adaptability, and a solutionfocused mindset. Key Qualifications Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience: 56 years in software testing and quality assurance, with strong emphasis on: Database testing, data migration, integration, and transformation testing (primary focus) Functional testing experience (secondary, goodtohave) Strong command of system, integration, regression, and performance testing Handson experience with test planning, test case design, and traceability matrix maintenance Proficiency with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.) Familiarity with Test Automation tools (Selenium, or similar) Experience with web and mobile application testing across multiple environments Solid understanding and handson experience with both Agile (Scrum/SAFe) and Waterfall methodologies Soft Skills: Exceptional problemsolving, detail orientation, and communication; ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
