Position Summary This role applies industry knowledge, sales expertise, strategic planning, and relationship management to drive business growth and optimize financial performance. What you''''ll do Category: Grocery/Food The primary focus for the Senior Client Partner is to exceed sales quotas while contributing to our team goals. The Senior Client Partner will become an expert in Walmart Connect as well as the Canadian retail media landscape, trends, and business models through deep partnership with crossfunctional teams. They will manage a portfolio of toptier and midtier advertiser accounts and use their expertise to build relationships by advising clients and creative strategic retail media plans. They will help define best practices, processes, and forge through ambiguity to move the business forward. Reporting directly to the Head of Industry, the Senior Client Partner will travel to client meetings (where applicable) and collaborate with colleagues onsite at the Walmart office. 1. Build and manage relationships with toptier and midtier Walmart clients and partner stakeholders. 2. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the clients business challenges, marketing objectives and success metrics. Shape annual joint strategies between Walmart and clients, leading crossfunctional teams to drive client success. 3. Reach and strive to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas through effective presentation of Walmart Connect advertising products/solutions that will meet client marketing objectives, while contributing to team goals. 4. Responsible for collaborating with crossfunctional teams (eCommerce, Merchandising, Marketing) as well as external client stakeholders to identify opportunities to drive revenue and lead the pitching, negotiating and execution of program. The Senior Client Partner will also be responsible for educating stakeholders on the Walmart Connect offerings and unique selling propositions. 5. Conduct forwardthinking, data driven analyses, and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and present highimpact opportunities to clients. 6. Collaborate closely with Senior Account Managers, demonstrating strong backend knowledge and the ability to lean in and ensure smooth operations. 7. Attend industry events (may be virtual), network and stay wellinformed of industry trends. Travel as required to meet with clients. Collaborate with colleagues onsite at Walmart offices. 8. The Senior Client Partner will act as subcategory subject matter expert, working directly with crossfunctional internal stakeholders. Qualifications University degree 710 years experience Experience within the CPG and/or Grocery sector is considered an asset.
