Overview: We are a selfhelp organization whose purpose is to empower people to develop and manage mental wellness through peer support, support groups, education, and advocacy. Responsibilities As a peer facilitator, you will: Ensure discussions remain on topic and everyone has a chance to share. Create a welcoming environment for participants sharing about their mental health. Collaborate with the organizations supervisor and participate in training and supervision. Skills Required Lived or professional experience with mental health. Comfortable communicating in English. Active listening. Interpersonal communication. Asset: knowledge of mental wellness. Asset: organization and guiding of group discussion (training provided). Asset: familiarity with Zoom platform (training provided).
