We are hiring an Onsite QE Test Lead to champion the transition from traditional QA practices to a modern Quality Engineering (QE) mindset across our technology landscape. This role will serve as the primary onsite point of contact for all quality-related activities, partnering closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders while leading and scaling an offshore QE team. Key Responsibilities Act as the single onsite QE/Test lead and primary point of contact for quality across the program. Lead, mentor, and scale an offshore QE team in India (manual + automation), ensuring consistent execution and high standards. Drive the transition to a QE mindset: shift-left testing, prevention-focused quality, automation-first approach, and continuous improvement. Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into test strategy, test plans, and coverage. Define and evolve test processes, quality gates, and reporting dashboards (execution status, quality metrics, defect trends). Own and continuously improve the test automation framework and regression automation suite, including in-sprint automation. Lead hands-on testing and technical problem solving for: Anaplan testing (model changes, integrations, planning workflows, data validations) Review test deliverables to ensure they are complete, accurate, current, and audit-ready. Manage testing across multiple tracks/teams while ensuring alignment to sprint goals, release timelines, and stakeholder expectations. Must-Have Qualifications 8+ years in software testing with strong test leadership / lead QE responsibilities. Proven experience leading distributed teams; comfortable managing and motivating an offshore team (India). Strong hands-on experience in ETL / Data testing and Anaplan testing (including integrations and business workflows). Strong SQL skills (advanced queries, data validation, reconciliation; performance tuning is a plus). Strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery and testing in-sprint. Nice-to-Have / Preferred Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow (or equivalent). CI/CD exposure and test automation integration using tools such as Jenkins, Maven, AWS pipelines, EC2-based testing, etc. Experience testing modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka) and pipeline validation patterns. Experience implementing quality metrics (defect leakage, automation coverage, pass rate trends, cycle time, etc.) Tools & Technical Skills Test management and tracking: JIRA, TestRail (or similar) QE/SDET concepts: test strategy, automation pyramid, shift-left, quality gates, testability collaboration Automation tools: Selenium, Appium, WebDriver (Python strongly preferred; Java acceptable if strong) Data tools (preferred): Snowflake, Airflow Certification (Preferred) ISTQB (nice to have) Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
