Duties and Responsibilities Supervision and support in relation to established production goals and quality control for work area/duties Good knowledge about stone types, bonding agents, handling and stone processing equipments. Coordinate, schedule and supervise workers to operate multi functional machinery to form, shape, finish and bond different types of stone products. Abilities to operate, trouble shoot and repair equipments when needed. Quality Control coordination and reporting of manufacturing issues to maintain the Installation/Delivery schedule (i.e. template/drawing issues, packaging, completion of work, safety, etc) as directed by supervisor Information and coordination with Project Managers, Production Scheduler, Install Managers, and production associates to maintain the Installation/Delivery schedule commitments Coordination of training for new and current production associates Cross training Benchmarking Utilize Performance Management objectives to improve and develop associates Vacation scheduling to coincide with production requirements Improvement recommendations in relation to production efficiencies and technology. Maintenance of equipment and building Maintain preventative maintenance schedule of all Manufacturing facility equipment Maintain established standards of locations appearance and safety in relation to the product yard and building Coordination of outside suppliers in relation to equipment maintenance/repairs, location appearance, and improvements in a timely manner Material management Facilitate fulfillment of requests from internal customers for samples Coordination/Completion of Shipping / Receiving process Coordination/Completion of Inspection/material verification process Ordering and Management of manufacturing supplies within budgetary constraints Coordination and coding of supplier invoices to maintain company credit standards Maintain accurate documentation of OSHA and company required documentation MSDS Safety records Crane Inspections Equipment documentation Meeting Company Safety Standards Education/Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or at least 3 years related experience and or training in stone works; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Work Environment Indoors in a non-temperature-controlled environment and outdoors exposed to changing weather conditions.
