This position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.Qualifications:* Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings* SHRM-CP or SHRM-SC or PHR or SPHR credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.* At least two years of experience with resolving employee relations issues.* Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently.* Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.* Must possess strong computer skills and ability to multi-task.* Strong organizational and time-management skills and attention to detail.* Strong analytical problem-solving skills.* Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including benefits and payroll administration, compensation practices, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.* Must possess a Bachelors degree.* Bilingual preferredEssential Functions:Serves as coach and mentor for regional management.* Conducts regular meetings with respective regional teams.* Consults with area management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.* Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.* Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.* Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.* Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to area management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).* Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.* Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.* Supports talent management including, interviewing, onboarding, new hires, promotions, and transfers.* Identifies training needs for regional partner groups and communicates to training and development department.* Required to visit worksites a minimum of once per quarter.* Performs all other duties as assigned.This position will remain open until filled.
