Software Engineer II, Service Integration Location: Toronto, Canada hybrid work schedule required. What Youll Do Build integrations, tools, and patterns that are reliable, scalable, and easy to maintain. Ensure the quality of engineering within your team. Participate in architectural and codereview discussions that impact the broader engineering ecosystem. Elevate the performance and practices of the teams you collaborate with. Collaborate with leads and engineers across multiple teams to solve a wide variety of business and technical problems. Document systems and maintain clear, uptodate technical knowledge. Contribute to the growth and development of the Wayfair engineering community in Toronto and beyond. What Youll Have Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of professional experience writing code, working with APIs, or building backends. Excellent team player with a passion for collaboration. Strong problemsolving skills with an ability to simplify complex problems. Experience working in agile environments. Drive for fastpaced work while maintaining high quality. Analytical and creative mindset focused on solving business problems with technology. Ability to translate business requirements into functional features quickly. Deep understanding of platform concepts and components: networking fundamentals, Linux system management and troubleshooting, containerization, HTTP and webserving, endtoend systems design, etc. Optional technical expertise (choose any that apply): Scripting tools BASH, Python, Ruby, GoLang.
