The Cloud Engineer role will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure to support TNGs digital operations. This role plays a critical part in driving cloud strategy, optimizing system performance, and ensuring reliable deployment of cloud-based services. RESPONSIBILITIES Design and implement AWS-based infrastructure solutions to support fintech applications with high availability and low latency. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, or similar IaC tools. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. Monitor and optimize cloud performance using CloudWatch, and Datadog. Implement and enforce security best practices using IAM, KMS, VPC, Security Groups, and AWS Config. Ensure compliance with financial regulations (e.g., SOC 2, PCI DSS) through infrastructure design and documentation. Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to support application deployment and incident response. Manage containerized workloads using ECS Fargate. QUALIFICATIONS Required: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a strong focus on AWS. Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation. Experience with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD tools. Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture. Experience in a regulated environment, preferably in fintech or financial services. Preferred: AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer). Experience with serverless technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB). Familiarity with financial compliance standards and secure coding practices. Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration in AWS.
